Specializing in senior products such as final expense, Medicare supplements, Medicare advantage, and part D prescription drug benefits. I complete Medicare's required certifications on an annual basis. I offer free face to face consultations on how Medicare parts A, B ,C, & D work. I want my clients to be aware of federal and state programs that are available (Medicare savings plans which could pay their Medicare part b premium and low income subsidy which can pay their part d prescription premium and greatly reduce their prescription co-pays). As an independent agent representing numerous insurance companies that offer different Medicare plans allows my clients to choose a plan that best fits their needs and budget.

Assisted living fills an important gap between home care and nursing homes. Years ago, before assisted living existed, an individual needing professional care went to a nursing home even though the care didn't always merit the intensive supervision and control of a nursing home. The fairly new alternative of assisted living provides a more homelike environment for people needing or anticipating help with activities of daily living or incidental activities of daily living but for which 24-hour nursing care is not a necessity.
A nursing home, skilled nursing facility (SNF), convalescent home, care home, rest home or intermediate care facility offers residential care. Nursing homes are a place of residence for individuals who require ongoing nursing care or have serious difficulty coping with their required activities of daily living. Skilled nurses and aides are generally available 24 hours a day, and most are large congregate care facilities with government (federal and local) funding.
Adult day services offer an ideal alternative to caregivers by providing a daytime care environment outside of the home. This program provides an environment where a loved one can be nurtured, stimulated and provided medical care and at the same time provide a welcome relief for the caregiver.
